Designed for labs performing varied assays including temperature sensitive assays The Biochrom Anthos Zenyth 340 is a PC-controlled, filter-based microplate reader with optional temperature control. The instrument has 3 shaking modes for mixing of solutions and the ability to perform readings at timed intervals ideal for kinetic assays.
Ideal for labs performing varied assay times, the Zenyth 340 measures a variety of well formats from 6 to 384-well plates with the standard ANSI SBS footprint.
Both linear and area scanning can be performed on the Biochrom Anthos Zenyth 340, enabling agglutination, and coagulation; and precipitation and insolubility studies to be performed. Five filters are supplied as standard that cover common absorbance assays. Filters from 340 up to 750 nm can be purchased separately when more specialised assays are required.
Software-NEW ADAP 2.0 Software now available!
ADAP 2.0 Basic Software Supplied with the Biochrom Anthos Zenyth 340, ADAP 2.0 Basic PC software is used for instrument control, including filter selection, calibration, plate transporter operation, endpoint, kinetic, and multi-wavelength measurements. Raw data can be stored or transferred to Microsoftš Excel for further analysis.
Optional ADAP 2.0 Plus Software ADAP Plus is a PC-based software including all functionality of ADAP 2.0 Basic, plus plate layout, transformation formulae, replicate elimination and quantitative and qualitative analysis
ADAP 2.0 software has user access at different levels allowing users to work within FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliant environments.
Applications The Biochrom Anthos Zenyth 340 microplate reader is designed for ELISA, protein (BCA, Lowry, Bradford), cell proliferation and cell survival assays. The Zenyth 340 micoplate reader can also be used for measurements of cell based assays where shaking is required to keep cells in suspension, enzyme kinetic assays, linear or area scan measurements and NADH assays.
